IT Lead
Nairobi, Kenya
Martin Chege leads technology and digital infrastructure at QualCare Africa — the learning platforms, health information systems and digital tools that carry the training programme beyond the rooms it is taught in.
A POCUS programme that only exists in person can only reach as far as its faculty can travel. His remit is the infrastructure that removes that ceiling: the learning management system that hosts course content and assessments, the certification and records systems behind trainee credentials, the webinar delivery that reaches clinicians in Kenya, Nigeria and beyond, and the websites and digital channels through which health systems find the programme.
He holds a BSc in Computer Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and trained in software engineering at Moringa School. He has worked in IT and communications across Kenya's healthcare sector, including at the Kenya Healthcare Federation, and now leads digital delivery for QualCare Africa through Minticode Limited.
QualCare Africa partners with hospitals, NGOs, medical schools and public health agencies to deliver internationally recognised point-of-care ultrasound training.
